Jonathan is a professional photographer with 40 years experience specialising in environmental and commercial photography. He would be delighted to give you information on good photographic locations in Rotorua and throughout NZ. Examples of his work are displayed thoughout the homestead.

Displayed in the gallery leading to the guest quarters is some of his most recent work with Project Crimson, a national organisation set up to protect the Pohutukawa tree. The Pohutukawa tree is seen mostly around the coast of the North Island and has bright red flowers that come out around Christmas, hence it is also known as the NZ Christmas Tree.

Lindsey now runs the bed and breakfast full time throughout the spring, summer and autumn seasons. During winter she finds casual work mostly in the health related industry.

Boots and Banjo are two cats who came into our lives some time ago for a short stay and have forgotten to leave. And Ritchie is a playful lovable lab. They will meet and greet you but will mainly mind their own business.
